Job Description
Start Date: September 2025 | Location: Riccall Primary School
At Mill House Club we provide high-quality care for children aged 3β11 years through our Breakfast, After School, and Holiday Clubs. As an Apprentice Playworker, youβll train towards your Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive team environment.
π©βπ« What Youβll Do
- 
Work with children aged 3β11 indoors and outdoors
 
- 
Plan and support play, learning, and creative activities
 
- 
Help prepare and serve snacks/breakfast, considering dietary needs
 
- 
Support children with SEND to ensure inclusive practice
 
- 
Record observations, contribute to planning, and support next steps
 
- 
Communicate with parents and colleagues to achieve the best outcomes
 
- 
Keep children safe and raise any concerns with the Manager
 
- 
Contribute ideas, show initiative, and support the smooth running of the Club

 What Weβre Looking For
- 
A genuine passion for working with children
 
- 
Energy, enthusiasm, and a positive βcan doβ attitude
 
- 
Commitment to training, self-study, and keeping up to date with Ofsted regulations
 
- 
Team player who can also use initiative
 
- 
GCSE English at Grade 4 or above (essential for the Apprenticeship)
 
- 
Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check and register for the update service
 
- 
Pride in your work and commitment to delivering quality childcare
